A friend recently asked me  Which I still haven't responded because it got me thinking, why do I actually offer? Let us think out loud... I offer certainty in ambiguity //Can I be more specific?  Let's say there's anything you need help with, a challenging problem, something that you aren't able to find a solution to, something that may not be your expertise? //Can I give examples? In this context, the friend who asked me is a designer, beyond the basic creative direction, art direction, I can perhaps help her create prototypes, mvps, functional prototypes, //because this is where I see a gap I can fill, but then again that's just me //if I would(which I am) how might I change the original question. I don't like spending time doing "X" is this something you may offer to help with? I get "X" kinda work but isn't really my area of expertise.... What makes successful products successful? What makes almost successful products fail? Is there a pattern? is there a formula that can be derived the most common and obvious objects, products or services we use? Were they always so obvious? Was there a time they didn't exist and were before becoming the obvious products we use today? I'm trying to find the common thread, a pattern, a formula, that may inform design innovation like nothing else has yet.
